The Lab 1 exercises were written for a PIC16F1937 processor with LED connected to three output pins. We are using PORTA BIT 0, 1 and 2 which means that you should use pins 2, 3 and 4 of the 16F1937 as the output. The LEDs should be connected between each output pin and pin 5 (GND) of the PICmicro, with a suitable current limiting resistor in series with each.
Hardware
The Lab 1 exercises require an LED board connected to Port A. If you are a HP488 development board user or a EB083 Combo E-block user then your hardware is ready to use. If you are an E-blocks user then the hardware configuration is shown opposite.
